Ag Issues Forum with Farm Bureau at Sunny Acres Farm

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

Ok, so most of you know I pretty much have my camera with me 90% of the time. Monday, John Yarmuth was out at Sunny Acres Farm (Home # 2) for their Ag Issues Forum/Meeting. Of course I snapped a few pictures!

Congressman Yarmuth, President of Jefferson County Farm Bureau Tommee Clark(AKA Mom #2) with Jefferson County Farm Bureau Vice Pres Larry Butler chatting……(I am hoping I didn’t butcher the spelling any one of their names.)

The Congressman took some time to talk to us about important issues such as the inheritance tax.

I had promised Ben (My 6 Year old Nephew) he could use my camera for a bit. Of course my 70-200mm was way to heavy for him and we got some tilted images. Poor thing he even tried to use the table to balance the camera….

It didn’t work to well for him! Many of the pictures looked like missing head people.

Laura • A Fun Fashion Bridal at Sunny Acres

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

When the opportunity came up to photograph Laura again…of course I said YES! It was even more of a bonus that she brought her friend Jessica. I have two wedding dresses I have been trying to destroy for months! My good friend and fellow photographer Missy Brown joined us at the shoot, soooooo be on the look out for her images as well. I am sure you can also find her on Facebook! That day wore me out, but was a blast!

We were also blessed with beautiful flowers from Chris Dayton of Colonial Design and Florist – Flowers.

Brandy Doyle rocked out the hair as usual. We wanted a more natural bohemian look compared to last time when it was very high fashion.

I love how this images is very soft yet has dramatic lights and and shapes of the trees.

Colonial Designs of St. Matthews were just soooo fabulous!

Jessica who is still new in the industry was sooo wonderful. She takes directions like a champ! (You will see more of Jessica in the next post! )
